Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for overall Merchandising activities of Development, projection & Production independently. To study design pack & have meeting with the vendors to explain spec for Development and Production. To work actively with Technician, QC, Lab & R&D in regards to sample development, Production, Test etc. To follow up and check all types samples and assure that all samples are correct before submitting to buyer. To do consumption, costing and pricing to get order confirmation considering sufficient lead time . To negotiate and follow up development of Fabrics and Trims & Accessories with suppliers. Sourcing and Booking all kinds of Fabrics, Trims & Accessories from local and foreign sources and make sure all are in house at right quality & quantity as per set on time frame for production. To make T & A to get plan for every style with the co-ordination of production team, planning team and follow up all stages of production process till shipment. To act as a coordinator among all concerned parties and monitor overall activities of suppliers, commercial, quality checking of goods, shipping etc. with a view to ensure smooth production and shipment. Maintaining all sorts of clear and effective correspondences among Buyer, Technician, production personnel, R&D, Quality department, Suppliers etc. related to production update and follow up accordingly. Supervise on Fabric order release, Lab dip issue, Strike of issue, Washing, Lab test, Inspection etc. Keep supervisor updated of general order situation, day to day production report of respective style.
