The town is nearly equisitant from Adelaide and Darwin. The weather is very variable and it has a desert climate.
Where is Alice Springs? Alice Springs is the third largest town in the Northern Territory(Australia) but the larges outback town Popularly known as "the Alice" or simply "Alice", It's situated in the geographic centre of Australia near the southern border of the Northern Territory.
Population Alice Springs has a population of 27,481 people, which makes up 12 percent of the territory's population. For about a hundred years it was just a small group of houses and shops, but recently the population has grown because it has become an important tourist centre.
Territory Alice averages 576 metres above sea level. The town is nearly equidistant from Adelaide, South Australia and Darwin. You can travel there by train from Adelaide or Darwin.
