The document discusses the Comprehensive Child Survival Program (CCSP) launched in Uttar Pradesh, India, and the "Aligarh Model" implemented in Aligarh District. It trained health workers, provided primary healthcare, and strengthened referrals. Graphs show the program improved health workers' skills and increased institutional deliveries, immediate breastfeeding, and exclusive breastfeeding while decreasing pre-lacteal feeding and immediate bathing of babies. A case study highlights the program's impact on an 18-month-old child in the district.
