Having run a successful dental clinic,
Mawsley Dental Clinic, over the past
decade, I decided that it was time to
concentrate on a new business venture
and so in 2015, I set up Trinity Dental
in Rothwell, Northamptonshire.
The success of any dental clinic is down
to not only working with a great team of
people; dental nurses, dentists, hygienists
and a strong administration team, but also
working with suppliers you can trust and
deliver total peace of mind.
This is why, when I set up Trinity Dental,
I only wanted to work with the very best in
our industry and when it came to choosing
a supplier, my natural choice was Henry
Schein Dental, a global leader in health care
services, providing companies like mine,
with first class guidance and advice.
Setting up a new dental clinic poses many
challenges, from finding the right premises,
to choosing the optimum design and layout.
At the outset, I wanted to create a clean,
contemporary environment that was not
only comfortable for my patients but would
embrace the very best in dental technology
adding significant value to the overall practice.
Having worked with Frankie Thomas and
Matt Robins for many years, I was confident
to look at new products and services with
their guidance. Their depth of knowledge
across materials, equipment,digital technology
and training inspired me to investigate all
sorts of new technology and to make the
right decision for my clinic and patients.
Frankie was there with me throughout my
entire journey. Nothing was too much
trouble and on the very first day of the
clinic opening, she was on-site ready to
help with any queries or questions.
Im pleased to report that the clinic was
highly commended on our LDU (designed
by Frankie) by the CQC as a premium
example of best practice when it comes
to decontamination.
I had a very specific look in mind when
I designed the clinic layout. A sleek,
compact yet comfortable and welcoming
environment, utilising the very best in
dental technology and equipment,
combined with excellent service that
would exceed patient expectations.
Frankie introduced me to the Teneo
dental chair, which not only looks great
but its integrated delivery unit, means
that both implantology and endodontic
treatments are combined in one. Its also
a great hit with our patients thanks
to its thermo and lounge upholstery,
lumbar support and massage function.
Its ergonomic design incorporates a
motor-driving sliding track which also
means that it slowly reclines in one smooth
movement making the whole patient
experience a lot more comfortable,
especially when getting up and down out
of the chair. A great innovation especially
for people with back problems. Finally, its
intuitive user interface is easy to use,
configurable and upgradable, so as
technology advances, we can improve
patient experience.
My team have embraced the new
technology in the clinic and feel confident
using it and we utilise the support provided
by Henry Schein and Sirona.
The benefits of having high end equipment
is being able to offer everything under one
roof, no referrals for scans, laser treatment
available on site, comfortable dental chairs
for long appointments and the equipment
adds to the aesthetics of the clinic.
Patients have commented that the clinic is
out of this world and patient testimonials
and recommendations are appearing in
our inbox daily.
I am grateful to have had such an amazing
