All about me
- 2. Hello everyone. My name is Alicia Miller and I just began my 4th year of teaching 7th and 8th grade. I am a special education resource teacher and love it! I currently live in Phoenix, AZ. I am pursuing a Masters in Accomplished Teaching with an emphasis in Special Education. Including this course, I have 4 more classes to go and expect to be done in April!
- 3. I was born in Maple Grove, Minnesota and moved to Phoenix when I was 5 with my family. I have one older brother who is completing medical school at UT Southwestern in Texas. When he is done, he will be an Oral Surgeon. I have two dogs, Scout and Cooper. Scout is a toy poodle and is 14 years old while Cooper is a young 3 year old Chihuahua/Miniature Pincher mix. Scout definitely has small dog syndrome and barks/growls at everything. I rescued Cooper when he was 1 and he is the sweetest dog Ive ever met (I may be biased). Both Scout and Cooper love to distract me from doing any homework.
- 4. This past summer I went on a cruise to Catalina Island, CA and Ensenada, Mexico. I had a blast and was definitely sad to come home. In the past few years, I have traveled to Dallas, Texas, Las Vegas a few times, San Diego and Minnesota.
