Half of meeting planners believe that risk is not properly mitigated in their organization. Over half of meeting planners do not receive a budget when planning begins and sign their own contracts, though very few leaders say planners are allowed to sign contracts. Most meeting planners and leaders do not currently have a method to track meeting attendees in a crisis or provide international medical and security assistance during a crisis.
