 Analyze the tender documents and provide inputs to the Estimation Managerto establish the work scope related
to the electrical, instrumentation control and automation works for a project.
 Participate in pre-bid plant surveys and meetings to acquire the required knowledge of the project.
 Analyze and understand tenderspecifications and coordinate with consultants forthe technical specifications for
Request for Quotation (RFQ) packages.
 Source for potential vendors and sub-contractors
 Request for Quotation (RFQ) from vendors for the assigned scope of estimation works
 Perform commercial bid evaluation at the tender stage.
 Estimate the cost of the assigned scope from bill of quantities (BOQ), drawings and specifications as received
from the Engineering department.
 Capture spare cost and lifecycle cost inputs from suppliers for operations and maintenance estimation.
 Support the tender technical schedule preparation by providing equipment supplier inputs.
