These obstacles become evident in projects through work interruptions due to lack of materials, excess materials at the site, inadequate storage space for materials, unregulated material wastage, onsite material damage, and incorrect material purchases. The ultimate consequence is the failure of the project.
Inefficient practices in managing materials during the execution of projects have led to a surge in abandoned projects due to escalating costs and unrealistic timelines. A multitude of these incomplete construction endeavors pose a severe risk to public safety, with some even collapsing, leading to tragic loss of life and property. This situation also presents a substantial financial hazard concerning investment in construction projects. Tekletsadiq (2018) identified poor administration and ineffective implementation as key factors contributing to project failures. While the study focused on store management, it did not address issues related to transportation management, which significantly impacts material management. Therefore, it is crucial to understand the interplay between storage and transportation processes.
A study by Yigrem (2022) examined how material management affects the performance of some real estate firms in Adama. The results showed that project abandonment was mainly caused by poor material handling, unreliable transportation, inadequate storage, and procurement processes. An Introduction  The word ‘Compute’ came from the Latin (‘puto reckon’) means to calculate  Computer is electronic equipment used for automating manual tasks quickly.  When Charles Babbage, the father of Modern Computer, has developed this computing device, never thought that these machines will rule over Our future.

Characteristic features of a Computer  Speed - high speed computing device  Accuracy - correctness with no human errors  Performance - automatically perform without human intervention  Storage - capacity is high (i.e. like Data Warehouse)  Versatility - use in various fields  Diligence - accurate without delay

Computer Usage  Office - preparing letters, documents & reports  Hotels - advance room booking, preparing bills & providing enquiry services  Railways - reservation of seats in train, printing of tickets & preparation of Reservation charts  Medical science - Diagnosing illness and treatment for patients  Architects - map designing & city planning  Meteorological Dept - weather forecasting

It has been designed and developed by Microsoft Corporation of USA.  It is a GUI based Operating System because it has graphical items like icons, menus, buttons, dialog boxes, list box and with variety of featured appearance.  Multi-tasking, a technology used in this operating system for performing various operations simultaneously.

Ms-Office & its Usage  Advantages of using Ms-Office mainly on the typical related activities with some advanced features which cannot be performed using a typewriter.  For example, including pictures, tables, charts, etc with the text, checking spelling mistakes & making corrections, reformatting document  Main features like Drag & Drop, Office Clip board, Mail Merge using Ms-word, maintaining a database using Ms-Access, Object Linking & Object Embedding features.

Computers in Classroom  Classroom is the place, giving birth to new ideas.  When the new ideas combine with modern technology like E-learning, Mail, Chat, Blogs or E-books , E-Library, Virtual Laboratory then the ideas make new minds and invention.  The computers help in developing the new creators in the ‘NANO SCIENCE’ or the Nuclear physics.
