This document promotes the Jewish Food Experience (JFE) program as a way to engage Jews in the community through food-related events and activities. It notes that food is a universal topic that people can agree on. It describes how JFE has become a successful Jewish engagement tool since 2012 by providing online recipes and event calendars, as well as offline tastings and classes. Communities can apply to be part of a 3-city JFE pilot launch program at no cost, and will receive tools, resources, and guidance to create a local version of the JFE program to engage local Jews and boost their organization.
