5. Task Your task in this webquest is to work individually doing research to answer these questions. What were the roles of the gods and goddesses to the Egyptians? 6. Process Step 1: Assign a god or goddess Did you know that there were over 100 different gods or goddesses in Ancient Egypt? Some gods and goddesses are at a greater risk of vanishing so I have assigned for you a specific god or goddess to be researching. 7. Step 2: Research Now that you know your role in stopping the gods and goddesses from vanishing, it is your job to find out everything you can about your assigned god or goddess. Click on the fact sheet below and find out what you need to discover about your god or goddess. Each day you will need to complete a different section of your packet, it is label on the packet for you! Good luck! Step 3: Choosing a project Now that you have all of your research, it is time to create a project to help people remember the gods and goddesses of Ancient Egypt There are three different projects that you may choose from. A poster with pictures and facts Draw a picture and write a short bibliography Write a newspaper article with pictures Descriptions for each project are on the following pages
10. Step 5: Create Project Poster Presentation Use the facts and pictures of your god or goddess to create a poster board You must include: 5 pictures 5 facts from every section of your research packet The name and role of your god or goddess

Biography and Picture Write a biography about your god or goddess and then either draw a picture or make a collage Paper: 12 pt font, Times New Roman, at least 1 page Include 3 facts from each section of your research packet The name and role of your god or goddess Picture: Draw your own picture of your god or goddess Create a collage using 6 or more pictures Step 5: Create Project
12. Newspaper Article Write a newspaper article discussing something good or bad that your god or goddess has done. Your article needs to include: 3 facts from every section into your article Pictures to go along with your article 12 pt font, Times New Roman, at least 1 page Step 5: Create Project
