• #2: Welcome to the Spring 2012 School Girl Collection. We decided to bring back the girly youthful garment with a more modern appearance.This inspiration board depicts the old and new school girl silhouettes, we hope to create this look for career driven women between the ages of29- 45, living in both the city and suburbs.
• #3: For this Spring 2012, we decided to use a mixture of silhouettes to create a more modern textile finish look enhancing the look and feel of silhouettes.First we decided to use this upcoming spring is voile which will be used to create the relaxed shirt.It’s a light weight fabric with a soft delight feel.Secondly, we have polished cotton material to create a structured and or body form silhouette with a tailored-made finish.Embellishments will be seen throughout various garments as small to medium accents.Fine Gauge is a very light weight knit fabric textiles weft creating a delicate fabric.Boucle fabric will be used into a Chanel like jacket.
• #4: The inspiration of the color-way is of three paintings formed as one, which I instantly fell in love with.Not to mention, it was also used in the WGSN SPRING 2012 forecasting trend category, but with a different color way.The color of spring 2012 were inspired from items that we can all remember from elementary and highschool. Orange has been seen on the several retailer’s spring 2011 and it will continue to follow through into spring 2012 with saturations of red tones.Burnt orange desk reminds me of the wood color of some desks from my elementary school days.Pearl is one of our basic colors. Remember that red Apple that always sat on the teachers desk? We decided to use red because red tones was spoke about in the Doneger forecasting spring 2012 show.The fourth is the beige frames which is the second basic color.Spearmint gum is one of our key items it was seen all over the catwalks.Blueberry muffin is third basic color.
• #5: The Relaxed shirt is a great staple piece for our customers, its versatile and the blueberry muffin and burnt orange desk both adds a pop of color into her closet.It is 100% viole and it will be available in the blueberry muffin, pearl composition, and burnt orange desk color.Our second silhouette is the sheath dress, this reminds me of the jumper dresses I use to wear when I attended catholic school. However, we refined the look creating a modern square shoulder and form fitting.( key item ) The pleated skirt was of course inspired by the school girl look. The length is mid knee length with thin pleats; its fabrication will be 100% pleated voile.( key item ) Cigarette pants are going to be seen across all retail levels the coming spring 2012. We will offer them in the pearl composition, red apple, spearmint gum and burnt orange desk.Last but not least, is the Chanel jacket which will be offered in the pearl composition, blueberry muffin and apple red.
• #6: The accessories complement all styles we are offering this spring 2012.Oxford shoes are comfy hey can be worn to work with a pair of knee high socks or stockings in which we offer.The knee high we are offering this upcoming spring will be in an assortment of colors mainly dark deep tones such as ourBlueberry muffin and apple red. The satchel bag 18 inches L X 12 inches W, and its leather. Its being offer in beige only.
