The author married their best friend 5 years ago. They realize that marriage and parenthood are not easy, but they are worth it because they are doing it together. Though life is not perfect and they argue sometimes, they have a good life with two healthy, beautiful children. The author promises to always be faithful, understand their partner's interests, make them smile daily, and never give up on their partner or the relationship. They say that if they could, they would marry their partner again every day and wish them a happy anniversary, hoping for 75 more years together.

5 years ago, I married my best friend.
And in our first 5 years of marriage, Ive realized a few things.
#1: Marriage is not easy.
#2: Being a parent is not easy.
#3: But both are so worth it
Because I am doing them with you.
Now life hasnt been perfect
And weve had our share of arguments
Like who didnt fold the laundry (you)
Or who left the lights on (me)
But when all is said and done, weve got it pretty good.
We have 2 kids that are healthy
And SO beautiful!
We get to comfort each other in the hard times
And enjoy and celebrate the good times together.
And we get to wake up next to our best friend, every morning.
Aside from the vows we took 5 years ago,
I have a few more promises to make to you.
I promise that I will always be faithful.
I promise that I will (try to) understand your yearly hunting trips.
I promise to make you smile every single day.
And I promise that I will never give up on you or on us.
And if I could do it all over,
I would marry you all over again, every single day.
So Happy Anniversary Babe!
