Anouk met Damian while participating in an AIESEC project in Croatia aimed at promoting entrepreneurship among high school students. Over the two month project, Anouk got to know Damian and his work well. She describes him as consistently hard working and reliable, always completing assigned tasks without issues. Damian thinks differently than others and helped challenge assumptions while preparing workshops. Though they did not always agree, Damian respected others' opinions and was eager to learn. Anouk believes Damian is open-minded, hard working, reliable, and an analytical thinker who would be a valuable asset to any long-term collaborative group.

1. Dear AIESEC in Romania
My name is Anouk Lelkens, I am 22 years old and I live in the Netherlands. Currently,
I am an Organization studies student at Tilburg University. I met Damian last
September in Osijek, Croatia. We both went to Osijek to participate in the project
‘Action not reaction’. This project is an AIESEC Osijek project focused on
entrepreneurial and socially important themes. The main aim was to promote
entrepreneurship among high school students and encourage them to develop basic
entrepreneurial skills and a basic entrepreneurial way of thinking by giving them
workshops on different themes. During the project we, the interns, were responsible
for the preparation and realization of the workshops to educate the students about
the selected themes. In the course of this two month project I had the opportunity to
get to know Damian and his way of working pretty well.
Damian's work can be described as consistently, when he is responsible for a certain
task there is nothing to worry about since he always does what he is asked to do.
During the project he always did his part in preparing and realizing the workshops
without any problems. Damian thinks outside the box and has certain knowledge and
opinions different than the mainstream. This quality helped us, the Interns, to
sometimes change sett patterns of thinking while preparing the workshops. I have
experienced him as pleasant to work with. Even though we would not always see eye
to eye on every topic he would always respects and try to understand my opinion, he
is eager to learn. I would describe Damian as open-minded, hard working, reliable
and an analytical thinker and I honestly believe he is a valuable asset for each group
of people collaborating for a long period of time.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions.
Kind regards,
Anouk Lelkens
