He has also appeared on several television stations as a commentator on foreign policy. Throughout his 28-year military career, Anthony Tata held many important leadership positions. He was an Executive Officer to the Commander, Battalion Commander of the 1st Battalion, the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, and the 82nd Airborne Division in Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
