GOPO REDESIGN
REVIEW GAME

Rules
Divide the class into teams of no more than 8
students per team.
Arrange your room with student desks or chairs
facing a screen onto which you can project the
internet.
Place one chair with its back to the screen, facing
the students.
Teams take turns in one-minute rounds, during
which all the other students must be quiet.
www.gopopro.com
Rules
During their round, each team sends a guesser to sit
with their back to the screen.
For their one-minute round, vocabulary terms will
be projected onto the screen (the guesser will NOT
be able to see them) so they are visible to the class.
During their round, the team will have sixty seconds
to give their teammate guesser, as many clues as
they wish to try to get the teammate guesser to say
the projected vocabulary word.
www.gopopro.com
Rules
For example, if the word projected on the screen is
President, teammates would try to get their
teammate guesser to say President by saying
(yelling, singing) the following acceptable clues:
 Selected by electoral college
 Lives in White House
 Currently #45 in U.S. history
Article II of the US Constitution lays out their
powers
He has big hair and a tan
www.gopopro.com
Rules
The following clues would NOT be acceptable and
would result in a loss of 1 point:
 President
 Rhymes with resident
Before + the edge + when your car gets hit it has a:
When the guesser correctly guesses the vocabulary
term, the team gets one point, and the next slide
(term) is projected.
www.gopopro.com
Rules
The guesser may use one pass each round - which
skips the term they are trying to guess (with no
penalty) and moves onto the next term.
The goal of each team is to get as many points as
possible.
At the end of each round tally up the points then
move to the next round.
After the end of a few rounds (you choose how much
time you want to spend on this) the team with the
most points is declared winner.
www.gopopro.com
Rules
You may award the winning team extra credit, a
homework pass, a round of For he or she is a jolly
old or young fellow or not!, or the intrinsic joy of
knowing that they utterly destroyed their
competition.
At the end of each round, go back over any
unguessed words and let students from other teams
guess them (for no points). If no students can guess
the terms then teachers should define terms for the
students.
