Draping is a technique used in massage therapy to allow clients to remain covered with a sheet or towel while receiving treatment. The document describes several draping methods including the posterior leg drape, anterior leg drape, breast drape, anterior pelvic drape, turban drape, and gluteal drape. Each method is designed to keep different areas of the body covered during massage therapy while allowing access to parts being worked on.

4. Posterior leg drape
a. Gather the drape at the greater
trochanter and at the ankle;
b. Fold the bottom end of the drape at an
angle across the opposite leg while
holding the drape at the greater
trochanter as a pivot point;
c. With the lower, grab the fold of the
drape and tuck it under the opposite
thigh; and
d. Fold the top section of the drape across
the back, leaving the gluteal exposed.
#3: Using draping, the massage therapist only works on the part of the body that is exposed - your back, one arm, or one leg, for instance. The rest of the body is covered.
