Proces uokvirjanja, ki v osnovi vsebuje tako vkljuevanje in izkljuevanje, kot tudi poudarjanje doloenih vidikov dru転bene realnosti, s pomojo katerih je dogodkom prej dan doloen dominanten/primaren pomen kot katerikoli drugi, namre le転i v samem sredi邸u odnosov z javnostmi. Pri tem naj bi strokovnjaki za odnose z javnostmi delovali kot doktorji uokvirjanja, ki z namenom doseganja razlinih ciljev v komunikacijskih strategijah postavljajo okvirje, znotraj katerih opredelijo probleme, izpostavijo vzroke, podajo vrednostne sodbe in umestijo kompleksne, abstraktne, vasih tudi nepovezane ter razdrobljene informacije v razumljiv situacijski in kulturni kontekst, ter s tem (implicitno) predlagajo, kako naj javnosti ovrednotijo informacije, razumejo pomene in na podlagi njih tudi delujejo. Proces vzpostavljanja okvirjev odnosov z javnostmi, uokvirjevalskih pogajanj znotraj odnosov in njihovega vplivanja na oblikovanje medijskih in dru転benih pomenov bo predavateljica prikazala s pomojo primerov iz politinega in energetskega sektorja.
