- 2. Props/ Makeup After a long change in ideas I’ve decided to include a girl with a tiger face paint and fairy wings. Although these ideas are in contrast I believe that for my music video the idea works, this is because part of it ties in with the lyrics: ‘come and fly away with me’. The idea behind the tiger is that I think it just makes the visual look of the music video appear more interesting but at the same time links to this idea of having to put on a disguise and be free to therefore face the world. The process of the face paint will be recorded in my music video because it allows me to have good close up shots of my artist.
- 3. Costume In terms of costume, it isn’t a factor which I am greatly concerned about due to the fact it isn’t prominent in the music video due to the distraction of the face paint and fairy wings. The clothing the artist however needs to be basic to therefore not be the centre of attention but to also illustrate that this is a basic every day girl. In terms of the artist hair, It should be up when the face paint is being applied but down for the rest of the video.
