This artwork by El Anatsui is called "River Crossing" from 2007. It is made from aluminum and copper wire in a three dimensional form that does not lay flat against the wall. The bright colors and rippled waves depicted in the work represent elements like a blue river, green forest, and yellow sand.

Aluminum and Copper wire
Three dimension
What inspires me about his artwork is that he
uses recycled material in its raw state in his artwork. The bright colors
of this work make it appealing. The works he creates have a three
dimensional effect because his artwork does not just lying flat on the
wall. The colors displayed in this work are used to represent something
like maybe the blue is the river the green is the forest and the yellow is
the sand. Most of El Anatsui’s works are delicate. The river crossing
work has ripples of waves.
