This document lists and describes several common tools used for network installation including modular release tabs to protect network cable plugs from breaking, an 8 connector RJ45 plug for connecting Cat5 cable to networks, a punch down tool for inserting wires into connectors, a multi-function crimper for cutting, stripping, and crimping cables, a network tester for testing cable configurations, needle-nose pliers for bending and cutting wires, wire cutting pliers, network sockets, and flathead and Philips screwdrivers.
