The teacher will be teaching trigonometry identities to their 11th grade trigonometry class consisting of 5 boys and 6 girls. They will use a YouTube video, an online game displayed on the SmartBoard, and have students create Voki presentations to describe their favorite identity. Students will work in groups to participate in the SmartBoard game and present their Voki to the class as an evaluation of their understanding of trigonometric identities by the end of the lesson.

Analyze the Learner
My students will learn Trigonometry identities. I will be teaching this to my 11th grade
trigonometry class consisting of five boys and six girls. Of these eleven students two are African
American five are American and four are Russian.
State Objective
My student will learn these identities through videos, and a game I found online. The game will
be on the SmartBoard for each student to participate in class. Also my students will create a Voki that
will describe the student’s favorite identity. By the end of the day ninety-six percent of my students will
know and understand Trig Identities.
Select methods, materials and media
The Media and Materials I am going to use are, a YouTube video, a voki, and a game I place on
the SmartBoard.
Utilize Media and Materials
I will use a video off of YouTube, also my students will create a Voki. In class I will be putting an
activity on the SmartBoard. I will assign them to a group of two with one group of three, to make the
game a competition.
Require Learners Participation
The students will participate in the game presented on the SmartBoard, Also they will be
presenting the video they found on YouTube. Their Voki will also be presented in front of the class,
however they will not need to stand to present it.
Evaluation and revise
The evaluation for today is going to be the video they find on YouTube, and the presentation
they give to the class.
