The document describes a new font called AstorFont created by the author as an answer for our current era. It’s already known that each design, each creation can
hold signs and styles of our time we live on Earth.
This font, which I created, is “an answer” for our time,
answer of our era, era of 21st Century.
Story about Astor font

Lately I decided to make whole font from this idea
with stated few rules in typefaces design. But first,
I wanna to show you my concept of my font. To
explain you a Base of which I started:

Yes! I straighten all curves and lines of Eurostile
font and stated a few design rules for designing
my font:
Capital letters are derived from O letter (hight and
width, if possible) and optically balanced to fit in
rest of Alphabet but strongly following rules of O
and V-A letters, where I was looking glyph designs
of Eurostile font and then I was design mine:
Mainly, tickness of capital letters is 65 pt and
tickness of lowercases is 55 pt.

Lowercases are derived from lowercase O letter
too and they are 400 pt high in 1000 pt grid.
Lowercase O is actually Capital O resized to 400pt
of hight, with line tickness of 55 pt.
Digits are derived from Zero digit, following
“width and hight”rule if its possible,
except digits 1, 4 and 7:
