This survey checklist provides instructions for reviewers to ensure land surveys contain key information such as the correct legal description and parties, flood zone designation, access and parking details, easements, zoning, utilities, and distances to property lines. Reviewers are directed to check that surveys show items like the point of beginning, basis of bearings, book and page references, north arrows, and legal descriptions that close within an acceptable tolerance. Surveys should also depict improvements, encroachments, adjoining properties and easements when applicable.
