ReflectionI would need an ocean of words to tell my story, but since I only have a small reflection pool, I will share the highlights.
Ripples in my ocean of lifeChris, my partner of almost 10 years. Without his caring gentle manner, I would have definitely been canoeing through a hurricane. My kids, As I have always been very active in their lives, they needed to learn to let me go.
Academic Advisors: Jeremy, who held his paddle firm and steered me in all the right directions.Krista, who took hold of the paddle and continued where Jeremy had embarked.Showed me how to navigate through on-line classes, stay diligent with assignments and due dates.
Class experiencesThe fog rolled in and tears of sadness dripped into my reflection pool with the start of my Children and Violence class. My weakness became my strength. It was then that I knew that my heart and soul will always be with helping children paddle through their troubled waters. After taking several classes regarding research methods, I have learned that developing statistical studies is a weakness. It does not offer the face-to-face help.

They can also lead to interest in future subjects and offer career potential. If nothing else, students who excel in any of these subjects may consider utilizing their skill to earn extra money. They can begin learning about work ethics and give opportunity for young entrepreneurs to work. Research SkillsIntroduction	For years, parents and educators have been asking if there is a correlation between too much sugar in a childs diet and their behavior. Educators are continually asking for parents to send healthy snacks and lunches to school. Parents wonder if their childs favorite foods could harm them. Sweeteners have been studied more than any other food ingredient in history. (Szwarc, 2008) The American Heart Association in August of 2009 produced new guidelines for a childs sugar intake levels. HypothesisNull Hypothesis: There is no correlation between sugar intake and hyperactivity.Alternative Hypothesis: There is a correlation between sugar intake and hyperactivity.
Communication Skills: Oral and Written
Ethics and Diversity AwarenessEthics are defined as our real life actions and decisions that are consistent with our beliefs.Team work is very valuable. It involves cooperation of many diverse people. Ethics is a code of conduct or a way to distinguish between right and wrong.
My Future in Learning Learning is a lifelong process. How do you envision your future as a lifelong learner? As I look out into the pool of rippled waters, all I see are possibilities.
