benefit society. Social responsibility
means that individuals and companies
have a duty to act in the best interests
of their environments and society as a
whole. Social responsibility as it
applies to business is known as
corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Many companies, such as those with
"green" policies, have made social
responsibility an integral part of their
business models.

The Audi Group takes this responsibility very
seriously, in order to be a good employer long term,
to remain competitive, to delight its customers, to
protect the environment and to ensure a livable
future for generations to come and because Audi
believes that economic success and responsible action
are inseparably linked.
In Febuary 2012, Audi AG join the UN Global
compact as a sign of its willingness to accept
