The modern 13-apartment building at Augustus Road in Wimbledon AW19 has certainly seen an upgrade after being rebuilt from a closed-down childrens home not too long ago. Through the Wandsworth Council, Kingmead Homes achieved their planning and demolished the building in 2007 to construct modern apartments. The one, two and three-bedroom flats were built over a year in partnership with NHBC. Each apartment was designed with wooden flooring and an open-plan layout. This project secured Tydwell Limited - the construction division of Kingmeand Homes and yet another venture by CEO Camran Mirza - the Best Thermal or Acoustic Innovation Award.
