Mr Edison gave us the electrical bulb ...... but didn’t tell us to save electricity in future nor anybody told us why and how to save the electricity. Now who can help........? IT IS ONLY WE AND WE.......... But How  By creating and nurturing this idea, this habit or this culture …whatever name we can call it by …but the motive behind MUST be understood….!!
Think of a situation …!!! An Awful Thought,..  No electricity in Branch… A/Cs not Working. PCs not Working. Coffee Machine not Working. Water Dispenser not Working.. Nuclietes  not Working.  Huge targets…. Bosses shouting …  &  Ahhhhh…
Switch off the Air conditioners for 15-20 minutes during the day. Switch off the water dispenser, vending machine, TV sets after 7p.m Switch off the Air conditioners for 30 minutes after 7.30 pm  Power on/off lights as and when possible. Ask the security to take the meter readings and the branch accountant to keep a check on the billing patterns. Accountants to send an email every month to Admin detailing the Electricity Expenses  Timely Repair of faulty equipments. Switching of the AC's when not in use (cabins/conference rooms) By maintaining 20-23 %c and not to overcool the temp to 16%c........as there is more pressure/usage of energy Work on minimal lights/ac during late hours. Switch off your monitors when not in use. Don't let the AC cooling escape by keeping the entrance door/cabin door open. Switch off the wash area/pantry/store lights & exhaust fan when not in use. Power Conservation Tips   Electrical Systems Use daylight whenever and wherever possible.  One of the best energy-saving devices is the light switch. Turn off lights when not required.  Switch off lights in washrooms during day time and use daylight.  Switch off lights in breakaway area when not in use.  Switch off lights whenever leaving your work area.  For central lighting environment, the last occupant of the area to inform the Technical team to switch off the light before leaving.  Battery chargers, such as those for laptops, cell phones and digital cameras, draw power whenever they are plugged in and are very inefficient. Pull the plug and save energy.  Shutdown your PC while leaving for the day and switch off the power supply. A computer that runs 24 hours a day, for instance, uses - more power than an energy-efficient refrigerator.  Do not keep any equipment in standby mode, as the same still consumes energy.  Air-conditioning system Switch off the air-conditioning unit immediately when not in use.  One will use 3 to 5 percent less energy for each degree air conditioner is set above°C (71.5°F), so set the thermostat of room air conditioner at 25°C (77°F) to provide the most comfort at the least cost.  For central air-conditioning environment, the last occupant of the area to inform the Technical team to switch off the AC before leaving.  Keep doors to air-conditioned rooms / floors closed at all times.

It is our responsibility towards our company in particular and nation in general to conserve the precious resource.
