#31: This slide demonstrates the cone of vision and human comfort zone. The tighter the ratio of height to width the more sense of place, with 3 to 1 being the maximum.
#32: The width of the street has a significant positive effect on the speed of traffic, the narrower the street the slower the traffic. This also leads to less pedestrian injuries due to decrease In speed. 25 MPH is the best speed for enjoying the surroundings and giving comfort to the pedestrians.
