STEPS :

Go to
https://chrome.google.com/webstor
e/search/lastpass

Click Lastpass: Free Password
Manager

Click + Add to Chrome

Click “Add” button

Click “Create Account” button

Enter your Email

Re-enter your Password

Enter your Password Reminder

Choose your time zone here

Check the two boxes

Re-enter your Password

This is your LastPass Page

Notice that the LastPass icon was
added here too

CONGRATULATIONS!
You did it!

Once you have installed the
LastPass plugin, you can import

your stored login data from your
previous password manager.

HOW TO DO IT?

Click on the LastPass Icon,

Click the Tools submenu

and click Import From:

Note:
For every password manager
format that we support,

you will then be presented with a
submenu.

Ex: If I click Google Chrome
Password manager,

A new tab will open like this

Click here

Click “Allow”

Click “OK” to restart your computer

There are two ways to
add a site:

AUTOMATIC
MANUAL

ADDING
AUTOMATICALLY

Go to any site that requires
your password,

Ex: Wordpress Account

When I Click Log-In,

You will see this on top of
your page

Click “Save Site” button

A new tab appear like this,

You will see automatically the:

URL
Name of the site
Username
Password
Folder

Click the box under “Folder” to
change the Folder Name

Enter Notes if you want

Click “Save” button

In your LastPass Page, you will see
the added site

ADDING MANUALLY

Click “Add Site” button

Enter the URL by copying from the
log-in site

How to copy URL?

Go to your Log-in Site

Highlight URL

Then Press cmd + C for Mac
users

or Press ctrl + C for Windows
users

to copy the URL

Then click the box under URL,

Then Press cmd + V for Mac
users

or Press ctrl + V for
Windows users

to paste the URL code

Enter the Name of the site

Enter the Folder Name like
Business or social media site

Enter Username

Enter Password

Enter Notes (Optional)

Click “Save” button after
filling-up

Manual method used only when
LastPass

does not automatically detect the
log-in site
