Be2camp is an unconference focused on how web 2.0 technologies can help improve sustainability in the built environment. Be2camp 1 was held in London in 2008, and Be2camp North will be held in Liverpool in May 2009. The organizers use various web tools like Skype, Twitter, and Ning to organize meetings and discussions. At events, participants can engage live in the room, virtually through streaming video and blogging, or via Second Life. Over 50 people attended Be2camp 2008 in person and online.
