Consultants must have at least 3 years of experience collecting utility data from multifamily properties and integrating it with the Portfolio Manager tool. They are responsible for gathering owner-paid and a sample of tenant-paid usage along with estimating remaining tenant usage. Lenders must confirm borrowers have engaged a qualified consultant and that data collection continues for the life of the loan.
