ENERGY
I. OBJECTIVE:
Cognitive: To distinguished and identify energy used in the discussion.
Affective: How important energy into our daily life experiences.
Psychomotor: To take good care and to be careful in using the energy
provided and given by God.
II. MATERIALS
Pictures (different kinds of man made energy, natural energy, heat
energy).
Scissors cartolina construction paper
glue colors/crayons pen
III. PROCEDURE
1. Prayer, checking of attendance, sharing of experiences, singing of
songs/energizers.
2. Discuss the 3 kinds of energy to the class. Present a picture.
3. Give examples in each kind of energy.
4. Connect the importance of using energy in real life situation.
5. Let the students actively participate in the activity.
IV. MOTIVATION
1. Discussion
ENERGY
The 3 kinds of Energy
Man made Energy- it is the energy made possible by a human being.
Examples: flashlight, lamp, fluorescent light, street light, matches.
Natural Energy- the energy made possible by nature and made by God.
Examples: sun, stars, rocks, moons, planets
Heat Energy- the energy that is made possible both by human and natural.
Examples: wood/paper /trees burning, solar energy, current electricity,
FORCE an energy exerting effort to do things work.
It has two types: push and pull activity.
2. Pull Activity- using force towards you.
Examples: pull the door to open gaining friends
Carry the baggage drinking a glass of water
Watering the plants picking things
Push Activity- using force against you.
Examples: throwing garbage pressing the start button on cam
Digging soil to plant pushing classmates in line
Kicking the ball writing
2. English Vocabulary-integration
Dig- to push the spade in soil making a hole.
Kick- to strike out of the foot.
Pressing- to push against.
Effort- the use of energy to do something.
Human- a person or people.
Carry- to take from one place to another.
3. Drills
A. Direction: Pick only one picture and paste it where it belongs in the

creative in presenting the output.
