Jet Audio's 'Stand Alone Complex' is a compilation showcasing original music that blends classic hip-hop with futuristic elements, produced by Jet himself and featuring various emerging NYC artists. Inspired by diverse influences, the project aims to evoke authentic feelings through its diverse soundscapes. Additionally, the music video for 'Lose Your Mind' is set to debut in July at a release event, directed by Lazlo and featuring creative direction by ArtekNYC.

- 2. “BET ON JET”: Biography While it remains a fact that producers have fueled hip- hop?s existence since its inception, a great disparity exists between MC and beatsmith. In fact, the last few years have showed how blurred that line can become, leaving purists and traditionalists thirsting for something authentic. Well, the day has come for fans of all types to be appeased: enter Jet Audio, a producer that balances the sensibilities of classic hip-hop with futuristic elements that creates a blend of sounds that strikes the listener as new, yet also surprisingly reminiscent of eras past. Like any artist, Jet chooses not to label his brand of music, but says he ?nds inspiration within everything from early to mid 90s hip-hop, J Dilla. Saturday morning cartoons, video games, girls, and “all things futuristic”. This organized chaos is evident in his sound, as he channels a barrage of styles from electronic to lounge music to rock within his opuses. A true purveyor of 21st century hip-hop music, Jet Audio has one goal and one goal alone: to make music that helps put life in perspective, “music doesn?t mean anything if you can?t feel it.” Monday, June 29, 2009
