The Betic Mountain Chain stretches 301km from Valdepe?as to Granada across southern Spain, including the regions of Andaluc¨ªa, Murcia, and parts of the provinces of C¨¢diz and Almer¨ªa. The highest peak is Mulhac¨¦n at 3,478 meters. Some of the major mountain ranges that make up the chain are the Sierra Nevada, Sierra de Filabres, Sierra de Ronda and Sierra Bermeja.
