The document discusses feedback and its importance in education. It notes that decades of research show feedback is one of the most powerful influences on student learning and achievement. Effective feedback helps maintain a supportive learning environment, guides students, and encourages movement towards learning goals. Crucial aspects of effective feedback include being goal-referenced, understandable, actionable, timely, ongoing, and consistent.

Editor's Notes
Its not enough to give the feedback. Students have to respond to it
An unbalanced force produces a change in the an objects state of motion. breaks the inertia
Never just one isolated force!
Force is an interaction between 2 or more objects. Learning is a much more complex interaction that can not be reduced down to a simple recipe for all to follow. What works well for one school/class/teacher, is no guaranteed to work again or for another. But we can take advantage of some highly effective straties and use technology to amplify them.
Now lets login to Canvas and take a look at the feedback tool it has to make it easier to provide effective feedback.
