1. The Youth Open Design Bureau (YODB) aims to create a community of talented youth to design and implement prototypes of mechatronic and robotic engineering systems.
2. YODB will bring together inventive developers of different ages and experiences to perform complex mechatronic and robotic projects under the guidance of experienced professionals.

The design for Jazziz Bistro at the historic Sullivan Center in Chicago hoped to create a contemporary urban space abstracting brass instruments into architectural forms. The upstairs lounge draws pedestrians off the street into a dramatic space finished in jewel tones. The main level features an organic terrazzo floor motif outlining the bar, private dining, an impromptu stage, and high and low lounge seating. A Louis Sullivan brass railing and glass light fixtures lead patrons downstairs where a monochromatic performance space houses a stage for live jazz shows.
