The Bola Ige Mechatronics Institute (BIMI) was established by the Osun state government to provide vocational training in automotive mechatronics. BIMI offers various certificate programs to train technicians, from beginner to advanced levels, and specialized courses. It has state-of-the-art training facilities designed and installed by a German partner. BIMI aims to equip youth with skills for jobs in the automobile industry and transfer modern automotive technology to Africa.
2. THE BIRTH OF BIMI
The idea of Bola Ige Mechatronics Institute was born out
of the developmental urge of the incumbent State
Government of Osun led by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola as
part of his administration’s integral plan to provide
employment, encourage vocational skills development
and to develop human capacity.
The Institute was named after the one time Attorney
General of the Federation/ Minister of Justice by the name
CHIEF BOLA IGE fondly called the Cicero of Esa Oke.

6. BIMI STAFF
All our instructors have been part of intensive training
in the art of automotive mechatronics technology from the
stable of Lucas Nulle GmbH Academy in Sindorf-Kerpen
headquarter and Eisenach Training centre, Germany.
The trained instructors include Mechanical engineers,
Electrical/electronic engineers, Laboratory Technologist,
Business managers and experienced automobile technicians.
Some of these are licenced member of various professional
bodies including Council for the Regulation of Engineering
in Nigeria (COREN).
