Shibori is a Japanese technique for embellishing textiles by shaping and securing cloth before dyeing. There are six main shibori techniques used on cotton and silk: itajime, nui, arashi, kumo, miura, and honey comb. The techniques involve binding, wrapping, compressing or stitching fabric in different patterns before dyeing to produce resist patterns in the final textile.

WHAT I LEARNT
We often see a lot of patterns around us or clothes which
have different kinds of prints and patterns that we're
unaware about. But, finally i got to learn a lot about different
techniques of printing and how to incorporate motifs from
nature and, then making them into a pattern.
Hand done things somehow add more value o the work.
