Dante N. Bini was a pioneer in automated construction systems using inflatable frameworks. In 1964, he built the first hemispherical shell structure in only 60 minutes. Some of his construction designs include Binishell, Minishell, Binix, and Binistar systems. These systems use inflatable forms to rapidly construct reinforced concrete and metal structures, with construction times ranging from 30 minutes to 6 hours. The systems offer benefits like speed of construction, architectural flexibility, material savings, and durability. Over 1,600 structures have been built using Bini's technologies in 25 countries.

Hexagonal-based monolithic reinforced concrete framed or ribbed dome
structures with spans of 40 to 64 meters.

8. BINISTAR SYSTEM
This patented, demountable method of construction produces metal
space frame structures of different shapes and dimensions. These structures
are lifted and shaped pneumatically from ground-level to their final self-
locking position by means of an inflatable air-tight, fabric-membrane which
remains in tension, suspended from the nodal points as a
final cover.
