- 1. Hello my name is Rebecca Hay (Lightening Rattle Woman). I am Ojibwe from Curvelake First Nation. I am a traditional spiritual advisor, healer, and pipe carrier. I have been a traditional counselor for almost 30 years and I am a registered social worker this has allowed me to run workshops that include suicide prevention, sexual abuse awareness, and grief and loss, I also run healing, sharing, and teaching circles. I have been Cultural Support for our Elders, Brothers and Sisters for the Truth and Reconciliation Commission hearings in Victoria and Vancouver B.C. I have done cultural sensitivity training for Vancouver Island Heath Authority (VIHA) the RCMP and the local police forces here on Vancouver Island as well as numerous ministry for BC government. I have also worked in Calgary Corrections, Schools, Transition houses, Treatment centers. My passion is working with our people to build strong community through healthy living. I have been a Reiki master for 19 years and a practitioner for 24 years now. I have taught across Canada and through the United States. I have certification in restorative justice and aboriginal coaching. I am a Doula and recently I have become a licensee for Danielle Laporte's Desire Mapping. In love and Respect.
