Alex-Andrei Imbrisca is currently the VP ICX NC in Timisoara, Romania. He was born in Timisoara in 1990 and attended William Shakespeare Highschool. He is now in his third year studying Finance and Banking at the Economic and Business Administration Faculty. He enjoys traveling, nature, football, and swimming. A defining experience was joining AIESEC Timisoara in 2009, where he learned leadership and project management skills. He held several roles in AIESEC, including VP ICX-NC Timisoara, and won an Excellence Award that motivated him to continue striving for more.

Alex-Andrei Imbrisca, VP ICX NC in Timisoara, Romania. The first VP of ICX NC in Timisoara. I was born on the 8th of September 1990 in Timisoara, Romania and I currently live in the same city. I was fortunate to attend primary and secondary school at William Shakespeare Highschool- a well- regarded English-school, in the Humanities class. Acknowledging the importance of higher education and being interested in the economic field, I gravitated towards the Economic and Business Administration Faculty, in the Finance and Banking department. I am currently in my third-and last year of college and I am looking forward to graduation. One of my all-time passions is being in the nature. I love the wilderness of the mountains and the serenity of the seaside. From this hobby, came my passion for travelling. My dream is the travel the world from one corner to another, but I especially dream about travelling to Africa. I am a very active person and therefore enjoy exercising, playing football and swimming in particularly. A core life event that defines me and makes me who I am today is definitely my experience in AIESEC Timisoara. I have joined this organization in 2009, when I also started my first year of College. I was eager to achieve more and challenge myself both intellectually and socially and because I have heard only positive things about AIESEC, I have applied in the organization on a whim, not knowing exactly what AIESEC is. I had the luck of being recruited by an outstanding team which I ended up looking up to and that became, later on, my co-workers, but most importantly, my friends. Being a very ambitious and determined person, even from the start of my AIESEC career, I took part in two projects that thought me how important it is to be organized, how to take challenges, how to learn from mistakes and, most importantly how to lead a team. After this two demanding but effective challenges, I aimed for more, so I decided to apply as VP ICX-NC in Timisoara. This amazing and fully- loaded experience provided me with the opportunity to grow and develop, but also with the desire to share my knowledge and to bring contribution to AIESEC Romania. One of the events that helped shape my life was winning the Excellence Award at RYLF because I ended up striving for more. The decision of applying in the MC came naturally and inevitably because I love to aim high and to dare myself. 1
