Cancer is a disease where abnormal cells divide uncontrollably and invade other tissues. There are over 100 types of cancer. Leukemia is cancer of the blood cells that starts in bone marrow. The main types are acute lymphocytic, acute myelocytic, chronic lymphocytic, and chronic myelocytic leukemias. Symptoms of leukemia include infections, anemia, bruising, weight loss, night sweats, fevers, headaches, vomiting, confusion, and bone pain. Risk factors include radiation exposure, smoking, benzene, chemotherapy, Down syndrome, and family history. Diagnosis involves physical exams, blood tests, biopsies, and imaging to determine the type and extent of the cancer

Leukemia is a cancer of the blood cells ; cancer starts in the tissue that forms blood There are different types of leukemia such as: Acute lymphocytic leukemia: a quick progressing cancer of blood where many immature lymphocytes arent fully complete Acute myelocytic Chronic lymphocytic leukemia: Chronic myelocytic leukemia :a slow progressing cancer of blood in which too many white cells are made in bone marrow
