5. PROTEINS
Proteins are bio polymers
It consist of long chain amino acid residue connected through
peptide linkage
Thus, the proteins are made up of Nitrogen, oxygen, carbon
and hydrogen. These are nothing but the chemical elements.
7. Cytoplasm
The Cytoplasm is the fluid that fills a cell
The cytoplasm has two major elements: the cytosol and inclusions.
CYTOSOL : It makes up about 70% of the cell volume and is composed of water, salts
and organic molecules.
INCLUSIONS: It contains granules of energy-storage materials such as starch,
glycogen, or polyhydroxybutyrate.
8. Mitochondria
Their main job is energy conversion
These convert glucose into energy by chemical known as ATP
Here, Adenosine triphosphate is also a chemical that contains
phosphorous, oxygen, carbon, nitrogen and hydrogen
9. How Sperm is pushed towards ovum??
Sperm is pushed towards ovum by cervical mucus, which is made up of
90% of water.
Water is a chemical compound, which contains hydrogen and oxygen
10. Fertilization
The sperm and ovum contains their own 23 single chromosomes before
combining.
When the sperm and ovum transfers their 23 single chromosomes, it get
paired up forming 23 pairs of chromosomes.
These chromosomes are known as genetic blueprints, because they
contain the DNA.
DNA is known as DEOXY RIBONUCLEIS ACID
11. DNA
The molecules that encodes the genetic instructions.
It is a nucleic acid.
The simpler units of DNA are known as nucleotide, which contains base
pairs.
Base pairs: guanine-cytosine and adenine-thymine
The elements here are nitrogen, carbon, hydrogen and
oxygen.
12. BIRTH The Creation of Life
Thus a human body is composed mainly of
Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, Nitrogen.
WITHOUT CHEMISTRY NOTHING CAN EXIST!!
