This document discusses a new HDMI-MHL dongle called Blade that aims to improve upon existing dongles. Blade is designed to be more compact and simple than other dongles. It also aims to have better Wi-Fi performance and uses an infrared remote controller to make controls more responsive and quicker than IP-based controls. The goal is for Blade to be an internet-friendly device that is easily recognizable within the home.
