- 5. DESIGN RATIONALE: This is one of my favorite pictures of Blake Shelton. I used a picture of my guitar from home because Blake is known for playing the guitar. I chose a picture of a country scene for the background, and put Blake at the bottom. This gave it the effect that he was sitting in that scene. I used a banner at the bottom to make the words Live at Roger Williams University stand out. I made the background darker, and used a bold font in white to make his name stand out on the poster.

- #3: (ft. artist Ashley Monroe) Blake Tollison Shelton was born in Ada, Oklahoma, on June 18, 1976. By the age of 16, Shelton toured the bar circuit, garnering statewide attention and winning the Denbo Diamond Award, the top award for young entertainers in Oklahoma. Two weeks after graduating from high school, in 1994, he moved to Nashville to launch a songwriting career. Once he hit Nashville, Shelton sold songs he had written to several musical publishing houses and landed a solo recording contract with Giant Records. His style was a traditional mix of blue-collar rock songs and country ballads.

He married longtime girlfriend and country music star Miranda Lambert, became a judge on the TV singing competition The Voice and debuted his new album, Red River Blue, which became his first Billboard 200 No. 1 album, debuting in the top spot

Its first single, "Honey Bee" peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The album's second single is "God Gave Me You", written and originally recorded by Christian rock singer Dave Barnes. The title track is a duet with Shelton's wife and fellow country singer Miranda Lambert. The album was produced by Scott Hendricks.
