Bolson is a small town located on the west side of the lower basin of the Tempisque River. It has a population of around 5,000 people and is spread out over 152 square kilometers. Downtown Bolson is situated around a soccer field, with the Catholic Church located on the east side of the field and an elementary school located on the opposite side. Sabaneros, who are similar to cowboys, are central cultural figures in the region, though they are less common now. One tradition in Bolson is "La Lagarteada".

1. Bolson is a small town located on the west side of lower basin of the
Tempisque River. The land in lower basin of the Tempisque River is an area
of protected land.
Bolson is spread out on about 152km territory with a population is about of
5000 habitants.
