This document summarizes a book about six young Army pilots who arrived in Vietnam during the war. Within a few months, they each became highly skilled pilots and officers, but also bore deep scars from the war, both physical and mental. Some were killed, most were injured, and one became an amputee. All suffered from PTSD. The book tells their action-packed story and the bravery of helicopter pilots, crew chiefs, and door gunners in Vietnam. Proceeds from the book go to support a charity for veterans' families.
