Dear Henk and the Stowe team,
This letter serves as formal acknowledgement of a job well done. 2014 has been an extremely full year,
with a renewed focus within BP on our Retail business.
Meeting high business demand and trying to reduce operating expenses is not an easy thing to do,
but we have made significant inroads as IT&S to meet the cost challenges and deliver exceptionally
well to our business.
We could not have done this without leveraging our truly strategic partnership with Stowe. We have
jointly laid a platform this year from which this business can grow strongly.
Stowe took on the tremendous challenge of taking on-board Namos support services and Postec
Communication Controller services on 1 April 2014. This, added to the existing support of PEC and
NetPOS services, meant that we now put our full trust in Stowe to manage our entire point of sale
solution suite.
It was the way Stowe approached this task that was most impressive. You were very transparent and
professional in the approach and we approached this jointly as a partnership. The close personal
involvement and complete access to Henk as CEO during this transition period and beyond is one of
the differentiating factors that put Stowe ahead of the curve.
During the transition period, Stowe further took on the difficult task of moving the BP convenience
systems from PEC to Namos. This was done enthusiastically and all targets were achieved.
Stowe has one of the most motivated and dedicated workforces I have ever had the pleasure of
doing business with. They are led strongly by a respected and well-informed leadership team.
2014 has once again been a year where Stowe has shown the value of a true partnering mindset.
Well done on your performance this year and looking forward to many more successful years.
Yours sincerely
Eugene Schagen
