This document compares bracing systems and shear walls in tall buildings using STAAD.pro software. It models a structure with ISA 65x65x10 beams, columns, and bracings, as well as an M25, Fe500 shear wall. The structure is loaded with 2 kN on two top nodes. The analysis found the top displacement to be 595.763 mm with bracings and 441.629 mm with a shear wall, showing shear walls provide better lateral stability in tall buildings.
