This document discusses segmenting the cortex of monkeys using a prior model of monkey brain anatomy. Initial segmentation results are shown at 0.25mm resolution after transforming a simple monkey atlas into a brain prior and running segmentation tools. Further work is needed to build a topology atlas for spherical surface representations.
